Car Parking PLC based

In this project we used car parking system. In this we will use IR sensor for car comping and going . for position sensor we used REED switch. Reed switches are magnetic sensors. PLC 14ssr2 used in project for controlling and managing.

IR sensor get signal and give pulse to relay circuit. Relay switch PLC input. PLC output is relay circuit. relay output control our motors.

About Infrared circuit

In this circuit we are using infrared sensors. We used 5mm size IR sensors.

Blue colour sensor will be IR transmitter.

Its work in forward bias.

Cathode of IR transmitter is commected to ground . anode is connected to VCC via 200 ohm resistor.

PLC traffic Lights

Project is based on Traffic lights and Programmable Logic Controller. In this project we will use Siemens or delta make PLC. These PLC’s easily available in market because of low cost. Its very easy to program PLC as we read from internet. Everything will be provided by company. Few programming code sample will available on company website. Schneider Electric provides the necessary software to select, configure and programme all Schneider Electric automation hardware and network equipment. This hardware includes Zelio Soft logic relays, basic PLCs, advanced PLCs, safety PLCs, HMIs, variable speed drives, safety controllers, light curtains, SCADA systems and various networks. In similar way delta provide WPL soft. These all are available on on internet free. In project we need 24vDC for PLC . 12 to 24vDC for input and output as according to project required.

About Traffic lights

Traffic lights, also known as traffic signals, traffic lamps,signal lights, robots and semaphores., are signalling devices positioned at or near road intersections, pedestrian crossings and other locations to control competing flows of traffic. Traffic lights were first installed in 1868 in London, United Kingdom.now used in almost every city of the world. Traffic lights alternate the right of way accorded to road users by displaying lights of a standard color (red, yellow/amber, and green) following a universal color code (and a precise sequence to enable comprehension by those who are color blind).

In the typical sequence of color phases:

  • Illumination of the green light allows traffic to proceed in the direction denoted, if it is safe to do so

  • Illumination of the orange/amber light denoting prepare to stop short of the intersection, if it is safe to do so

  • Illumination of the red signal prohibits any traffic from proceeding

Gesture robot PLC based

In this project we will use Accerlometer as a main component. We read lot of gesture sensors on internet like 7620 , adxl33xx and other ic based. But out of them only adxl335 available in market. So we are planning to make project based on it. It our final year major project , that’s we are quite serious about project. In this project first of all we will use adxl335 as sensor get axis x,y, and z readings. For x axis we will move our robo arm ir moving robot in one direction. For y axis we will move our robotic arm or rob in other . for z axis we will move in third.

We collected all datasheets regarding project components. We know waiting approval from our college end for this project.

After it we will collect electronics component from electronics vendors.

In circuit accelerometer will give signal to ADC – analog to digital convertor. We are studying more better methods to interface Accelerometer with Microcntroller or PLC.

In this project we use ic 89s52 microcontroller as a main processor. IC 89s52 is a 40 pin microcontroller. We program this ic with the help of computer. Software is written in the assembley language and then transfer into the blank ic with the help of programmer kit.

In addition with the anti falling concept we use auto collosion concept.

In this project we show that how we design a future vehicle for automation. By using this automation we design the vehicle for auto path finding. We use this concept for remote area. Where we control the robot from remote are . Or we send the machine in any small tunnel. If we fit a wireless camera with this robot then it is possible for us to capture the all detail of facing area.

In this project we use accelerometer to sense. These sensor are reflective type sensor.. Microcontroller circuit sense the input signal and compare this signal with the other eye signal and then change the direction of one motor. When there is no deflection from any sensor then there is no signal from the sensor and at that time both the motor of the vehicle run smoothly to the forward direction.

In this vehicle we use total two motor for the forward and reverse direction. When one motor stop then vehicle change its direction for a short second and then again came to the origional position.

Main circuit is based on the microcontroller. Here in this project we use 89s52 microcontroller as a main processor. Motor’s control by a H bridge circuit. For two motor we use two H bridge circuit. Here in this project we use two slow speed dc gear motor .

PLC Based Bottling Plant Automations

In this project we will make Automation project . In project we will complete two process in plant automation – one is filling of bottle and other is capping of bottles.

Feature in Project-

  • Conveyor System

  • bottle filling System

Conveyor System:

In Conveyor system we will use a conveyor belt around roller. A motor will drive this conveyor.

In Bottle filling system- there will be a water pump to fill the bottle automatically. When our bottle will reach at this station a Proximity sensor will sense bottle. We could use infrared or reed switch for this purpose.

Timer will get activated that mean water pump will get activated for some time . During this period conveyor will stop .

Relay Drive circuit to control pump filling water in bottle

H bridge is interface with the micro controller with the help of opto -coupler circuit.

PLC GSM control devices

In this project we can control any electrical appliances through mobile or landline from any part of the country. In this project one base unit is connected to the basic landline in parallel with the land line phone.. When we want to control any electrical appliances through outer phone then first we dial the home number, bell is ringing and after few bell phone is automatic on and switch on the base unit to operate. Now we press the single digital excess code, if the excess code is ok then unit give a tone pulse and switch on the base unit. Now again we press the switch on/off code to on/off any electrical appliances. With the help of this code unit is on and base unit give a acknowledge pulse for on and off separately.

Complete circuit is divided into three parts.

  1. DTMF DECODER

  2. PLC

  3. AUTOMATIC ON THROUGH OUTER PHONE

DTMF DECODER.

In dtmf decoder circuit we use ic 8870 ic. IC 8870 is a dtmf decoder ic. IC 8870 converts the dual tones to corresponding binary outputs.

DTMF SIGNALLING. Ac register signaling is used in dtmf telephones, here tones rather than make/break pulse are used fro dialing, each dialed digit is uniquely represented by a pair of sine waves tones. These tones ( one from low group for row and another from high group fro column) are sent to the exchange when a digit is dialed by pushing the key, these tone lies within the speech band of 300 to 3400 hz, and are chosen so as to minimize the possibility of any valid frequency pair existing in normal speech simultaneously. Actually, this minimisator is made possible by forming pairs with one tone from the higher group and the other from the lower of frequencies. A valid dtmf signal is the sum of two tones, one from a lower group ( 697-940 Hz) and the other from a a higher group ( 1209-1663 Hz). Each group contains four individual tones. This scheme allows 10 unique combinations. Ten of these code represent digits 1 through 9 and 0. . tones in DTMF dialing are so chose that none of the tones is harmonic of are other tone. Therefore is no change of distortion caused by harmonics.
